1) you don't need to go to the bank to ask customer care for account balance
2) you don't need to trek take bike or cab to the atm machine to check your account balance
3) easy to comprehend
To check you GTbank Account with your mobile phone follow the steps below
1) Enter SMS Number (08100550000)
2) type "bal and your NUBAN Number ( Nigerian Union Bank Account Number)
e.g bal 1012345679
3) Press Send
please note the following
1) The sms syntases are not sensitive
2) your customer number for NUBAN checks can be sent in any preferred format
3) Use your telephone number that is registered with the bank
4) Any request sent with the wrong fomat or from the wrong mobile number will return error message.
